1.) Why is it important to see out a board certified plastic surgeon?

2.) Are men having plastic surgery?

3.) Does health insurance cover cosmetic surgery?
Answer:  In rare instances some of the aesthetic procedures can be partially covered by        reconstructive procedures such as panniculectomy for excess overhanging skin of the abdomen        causing chronic infection, upper blepharoplasty from excess skin decreasing visual fields        making it difficult to see and breast reduction causing significant neck and back pain. These are        some of the examples where aesthetic cases can be covered through insurance; however, these        issues are usually left up to the discretion of the surgeon, the patient and the insurance carrier.
